The context for this scoping study is a housing policy and funding environment, alongside substantial changes to welfare benefits, that is making it more difficult for many young adults with sight loss (YASL) to gain access to a range of housing opportunities.

This scoping study examines and analyses ‘key factors’ to understand the current policy and funding climate and how this affects housing prospects for YASL. Specifically:

The research is UK-wide but with a focus on England, Scotland and Wales.
